C: Crater Full of Fish

The most popular snorkeling spot on Oahu is Hanauma Bay. The bay formed many thousands of years ago when the crater of an ancient volcano flooded and part of its the exterior wall collapsed, allowing the sea water to rush in. It is a very protected reef so it's easy even for beginner snorkelers, and it's teeming with many varieties of fish. For more photos beginning with 'C' visit ABC Wednesday.

  1. I'd to be there. Then again, I'd like to be anywhere but here right now.

  2. Haha - Roger I'm guessing you're in one of the 30 states on the mainland that's been hit with all that snow/ice!

  3. The crater looks so inviting. I hope it's okay to stay at the edge of the water while watching fish.
