Look! A Turtle!

We easily spotted over two dozen sea turtles (Honu) feeding on the algae at Papailoa Beach last weekend.  This guy was particularly friendly, and hung around in the protected waters where we played for at least an hour.

  4. They're quite large, aren't they? Cool how you got the perspective with the little girl in the first photo.

  7. That's just A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!! It's incredible!!! I would love to see a turtle that close!
I saw some last June in Mexico, but it was in the middle of the sea... only twice when they came out to breath... I was so happy, but you were much more lucky than I!!! That's awesome. :D
