U: Ulu-pa'u Head

Ulu-Pa'u Head is actually a peninsula that is barely connected to the rest of Oahu - it is also home to Kaneohe Bay Marine Corps Base.  This is the view from Kailua Beach, looking out across the bay.   It's ABC Wednesday, and to see more 'U' photos you can click HERE.

  3. Yes Hawaii is amazing, i've been there once, visited the 3 islands but stayed in Oahu. Everyday is a tour day whenever you are in Hawaii, i wonder how the citizens feel, they are perennial tourists.

  8. Thanks everyone! Andrea, as a citizen, I can tell you that it is wonderful to live here in Hawaii! I live on the opposite side of the island from Honolulu, so sometimes when I go over there I do feel a little like a tourist.

Perth, I did see filming last summer - much of it was done in Kaneohe Bay, very close to my house. The Pearl was docked near Heeia Pier sometimes, and you could go there and see Johnny Depp and other actors. I haven't seen the movie yet - can't wait.
