MMMM.....Malasadas!

I love Malasadas - Hawaii's version of a doughnut without the hole (only way better).  My favorites?  A six-pack of plain sugar ones from Leonard's Bakery in the signature pink box!  You may notice there are only five in my photo - that's because I have to eat one in the car on the way home while they are still hot :)  For more 'M' photos please visit ABC Wednesday.

    It's remarkable how donuts change from region to region. My neighbourhood in Toronto, for instance, is know for its Pączki. Who'd have thought there could be so much variety in deep-fried dough.
