I recently saw this t-shirt that the coaches in the AYSO soccer program are wearing for winter season...and it kind of cracks me up :) However, I do think it's a nice way to get the parents in the right frame of mind as they show up for their kids' games.
It's a terrific reminder!! Too bad that it's necessary to be sure that the adults behave.
ReplyDeleteAs a veteran of many a soccer game with my boys--now adults, I can appreciate the message. And I recall many games when I would have appreciated such a shirt on the back of our loyal and committed coaches. A fun photo. Thanks, Lisa.

Wow, do I remember those days well! My kids both played soccer when they were young, and the parents get crazy-competitive (I must admit a little guilt). For some reason, soccer seems worse than the other sports. The local AYSO finally started calling for "Silent Saturdays"... no yelling, clapping, screaming... just watch your kids play soccer! Awesome t-shirt!
ReplyDeleteIt is so true too. This reminded me of the picture of President Obama cheering his daughters basketball team this week.
